The first house is known as the Day House at 631 N. Kansas.  The house was built in 1879 by George L. Day, dentist and first lumber dealer.  This was also the first two-story house in Superior.  It had been owned by the Day family for 112 years.  The present owners are Lewis and Pamela Hunter.

The next house is the Adam's house on the corner of 7th and Bloom.  It was built in 1886 by then Captain Clair Adams and his wife Abbie.  The house was named " The Cedars" for the twin rows of trees lining the front walk.  There is a long list of the accomplishments of Captain Adams and his wife.  The current owner is Gale Mikkelsen.
