Check out the local food venders in various locations. Start with the Breakfast Buffet, 7:00 - 10:00 a.m. at the Centennial Lutheran Church, 855 N. Dakota .
    For lunch the local Boy Scouts will be serving Pork burgers and Brats, 355 N. Central, or try out the Hamburger Feed at  the First Presbyterian Church, 549 N. Central  from 12:00 pm till gone.
   Then snack on  cotton candy, funnel cakes and more from the Superior Lions Club booth at 341 N. Central St.   But don't forget the other food vendors found throughout the Festival area.

9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Superior Bucks Giveaway of $1,000
Beginning at 9:00 AM forms may be picked up at participating downtown businesses or the Trolley located at 447 N. Central.
After you have visited 10 of the participation businesses and have your form marked by someone at that individual business, return form to the Trolley.  Forms will be accepted until 3:00 PM and the drawing will be at 3:15 PM at the Showmobile, 4th and Central.  You must be present to win.

 

Bike Rodeo for K-4th grade & Hot Wheels under 5 years of age at the Superior Municipal Airport (Meyers Aerial), 422 Hwy 14 Saturday 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM. Registration begins at 7:30 AM - Prize for Best Decorated

 

Parade  New Time
Beginning at 1:30 PM, join us for the area's largest parade of the year. If you would like more information about how you can participate in the parade - contact us!
 
Activities at the Showmobile at 4th and Central
  Local entertainment on the Showmobile from 10:00 - 10:30 AM.  
  Lady Vestey Portrayal - Beverly Beavers will be at the Show mobile at 10:30 AM to do her portrayal of Lady Evelyn Vestey.  Beverly Beavers, a local resident, is a member of the Nebraska Humanities Council, and travels all around the state doing her portrayal of one of Nebraska's great women.

  Big Red The Clown
Magic Show at the stage at 11:00AM -11:45 AM.  He will also walk through the crowd to entertain adults and children before the show and during the afternoon.
   Entrepreneur Award will be given at 12:00 - 12:30 PM  Check out awards on the Honorees page.
   Music by Holly Beavers and the National Anthem to start the parade 1:15 - 1:30 PM. 
   Crowning
of the Little King and Queen Contest, 12:00 - 12:30 PM.
   Gracious Lady Presentation of Keys to the City 12:00 - 12:30 PM. check the Honorees page for more on Gwen Johnson our Gracious Lady for this year.
   Barbershop Music with "The Pope's People" 12:30 - 1:15 PM
   Entertainment on the Showmobile after the parade.

Children's Activities
Children's activities will be downtown on Central and Commercial.
   The Petting Zoo will be at the Chamber Office on 4th and Commercial from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

    Kaw Valley Express, train rides starting at 5th and Central 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
   Duck Drop at the Superior Airport (Myers Aerial) 9:00 - 10:00 AM.  Children will be able to redeem a numbered duck for a prize.

   Children's Games in the Downtown area  such as Knight Joust, Dunk Tank, Velcro Wall and more from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
Tickets for the children's games can be picked up at the Trolley, 447 N. Central

LaRue's Little Horse Ranch

Pony rides for the children at the intersection of 3rd and
Commercial from 9:00 AM - 4:00PM.  $4.00 per ride.

Craft Fair

Check out the craft vendors at the Stateline Elks Lodge at 230 N. Central  from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
 
Sidewalk  Bazaar
 You can find the sidewalk bazaar and craft vendors throughout the downtown area in and around 4th and Central.
 
Quilt Show
The Kountry Quilters Quilt Guild of Nuckolls County will have a quilt show at the Vestey Center from 9:00 AM - 4:00PM.
Victorian Tea
The Victorian Tea will be held at the United Methodist Church at 448 N. Kansas at 3:30 PM. Tickets are $7.00 per person. Seating is limited and tickets need be purchased in advance by contacting our Chamber of Commerce office.  Tickets at the Information Booth May 29th is available.

 
Superior History Video and Display
Showing at the Vestey Center. "Back in Those Days" a video on the history of Superior will be shown continually from 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM.  Copies of the video will be on sale for $10.00 while supplies last.

 
Victorian Home Tour
 
This Victorian home located  at 929 N Kansas was finished in 1889, when Mr. Edward Smith purchased it for $500.00 for his bride Mary Hartzler. The house has a large wrap around porch  that was so popular for the time period. The home is now owned by
Leola Duffy. Home tours will be offered on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 - 4:00 PM; also on Sunday from 1:00 - 4:00 PM. Costs $4.00 per person payable at the door.
 

Nuckolls County Museum
                         
The Nuckolls County Museum is one-of-a-kind museum that has pioneer furnishings, a collection of mementos brought back by Lady Vestey and other historical articles of interest.  
Saturday and Sunday the museum will be open from 1:00 - 5:00 PM
with living history demonstrations. 2:00 PM at the museum's church the will have  music with "Grannies on the Go". They will have Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest and drawings for Church Doll. The museum will also be open on Friday and Monday, 1:00 - 4:00 PM.
                          

Little and Big Tuggers Pedal Power Tractor Pull
National Sanctioned Pedal Pullers will be set up on 4th and Central for Little Tuggers ages 4-12 and the Big Tuggers ages 12 - 112. Registration at 2:30 PM and the event starts at 3:00 PM                             
                          

Pleasure Cruisers
The Pleasure Cruisers Car Club will be downtown with their cars on 3rd and Central before the parade from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Superior Auditorium Open House and Tours
The auditorium committee will be serving tea and cookies along with tours of the auditorium that they wish to restore and make useable.

Alumni Banquet

At the Superior High School starting at 6:30 PM

Dance the night away with DJ music, 9 PM - 1 AM.
